Do I see that right? The Terrain Tamer knuckle rebuild kits include new wiper retainer plates? (the half circle metal guys that go on the outside of the wipers).

I do believe I'lll order a TT kit next time I need to do a knuckle rebuild.

Dan

Yup. They sure do Dan.

:)

It's like they have met me before.

No longer will I feel the need to powder coat those guys in the closest color I can approximating the factory coating. Is it bad that I get a little giddy about the possibility of those little guys being shiny and clean under there?

Dan

Folks:

Just a reminder that today will be my last day in the office this week before I head to Logan's Run tomorrow with the Olde North State Cruisers.

I will be checking email sporadically during the event based on internet access.

I will be back in the office on 9/21/15.

Thanks for your support and patience.

FOLKS:

Just got home after being in NC for the past 6 days hanging with the ONSC group. What a great event and I highly recommend putting Logan's Run on your schedule.

It is going to take me a day or two to get caught up so I appreciate your patience. Again, I am a one man operation. I do everything. So catching up after attending a sponsorship events takes a couple of days.

Hope everyone is having a great September and a nice fall wheeling season.

I will be in the office through Thursday and the heading to the 70 series meet in Cullman, AL on Friday AM....

First ever 7x series meet/gathering/event in the US ever.

Can't wait!!!

Thanks for everything folks.

I look forward to seeing you and the other guys in Cullman. What started off as an effort to get a couple of 70 Series owners together in one spot has morphed into something much bigger.

Folks:

I am working as hard as I can to get caught up with emails, PM's and VM's. I appreciate your patience as I work through my backlog.

Thank you.

Had a great time hanging with my friends with the Olde North State Cruisers at URE in NC for the 5th Annual Logan's Run.

Highly recommend this event for a great time, good people, nice family feel and general all around good time.

@BMThiker were talking about how different regional events have different feels, different protocols, etc. Logan's Run is one of the best that either of us have gone to.

Absolutely awesome.

Maybe someday I'll have to figure some time off and take a road trip to one of these eastern/southeastern events. Those are some beautiful rolling hills in the background there!

Dan

I just wanted to post up to say Onur is awesome! He came through with parts that several other reputable sources indicated were discontinued / no longer available. Keep up the great work, sir!

New OEM soft tops really are an incredible piece of loom work.

This is a new OEM soft top for the 7x SWB trucks. Just so damn awesome.

The package had a very cool "production" document that came with it. It had manufacture date information, supplier information as well as the person who made it as well as the inspector who signed off on its veracity.... Way cool. I think (I don't know for sure, that these are manufactured per order).

Anyway, fitment was perfect. Much better than the 30 year old used ripped, deteriorated unit I had before.

It has lived many lives Sam. It really has. Ask @cruiserdan ... He pretty much was around for a good solid portion of its living life (Dan will also be receiving some nice components off of her).

That said, I've moved on to other interests in terms of Land Cruiser... Just as you have over your own years of ownership.

Sometimes it's better just to say goodbye...

But the memories are priceless....

Understand completely ... but 'tis still sad ...

Understand completely ... but 'tis still sad ...

Sure is....

Just like the one who got away....

The job ya never took.....

The vacation you never took....

In reality it has done exactly what I ever asked it to do...And thousands of things more....

That truck was my "gateway drug" to my current reality. Without that truck, I would be a miserable person someplace in the world doing something terrible, demeaning and without worth.

If you look back over 11 years of threads on MUD where my truck is present, it will tell a tale of a well used truck and a phenomenal life span that Toyota would be proud of IMO.

I just prefer to spend my money elsewhere now. ;)

Onur:

It wasn't that long ago that you picked up your 70 looking beautifully pedestrian. Now it just looks incredibly awesome.

The new top, the lift, the tires and the bumper really makes it look like my kind of cruiser.

I'll have to get a 70 one of these days to try and duplicate it. ;)
