Congrats on getting it all together sir. I would love to do this one day, we have plenty on 6BT's and NV4500's here in Ohio but finding the time and $$ to do it is the problem. That and not being able to drive my station wagon for a couple months while I figure it out might kill me.
I'm addicted to that feeling you get when you set a goal like this and meet it head on. All the blood, sweat and tears are worth it knowing that you accomplished what you set out to do. Not many people can do something like this so you should be proud to have done it.

cnorm5623... I enjoyed your write up. Thanks for sharing. Gives me a lot of food for thought as I see this conversion in my future.

Good luck, looking forward to reading your assessment of the package( mileage, drivability etc) over time

Well I took it wheelin yesterday! Had some fun. The place we went was designed for jeeps or short wheel base and I wasn't able to play on most obstacles without dragging my a$$ everywhere or getting high centered. Need some sliders, rear bumper, at least a rear locker, and some 35's and I think it would be more fun. Its only money right

Of coarse I was taking pics and videos of the other guys playing and didn't get any of me playing. I did climb one steep hill and had lots of power! So much fun.

I have a couple little leaks to attend to but so far so good.

I check mileage on just half a tank and only got 16 mpg

I didn't look to close after but it looked like it might have lightly rubbed. Dustin suggested that I grind off the whole corner of the bell housing. I will try to get back under there this weekend and take a closer look.

My little hill climb. little being the key word.
shows how bad I need lockers
Wow, that thing sounds awesome. What exhaust are you running... Congrats
