Good morning all,

We have made some progress with the TLCA on the past few days. Looks like we can start to move things along more quickly.

There is a bit of confusion with our chosen name - Appalachian Land Cruiser Association. There is already a club named Appalachia Cruisers which coincidentally also has a president named Andy.

I have discussed with Greg and Gary and we would like to know if anyone has any serious objections to going with the name Keystone Cruisers.

When we discussed at the initial meeting, I don't believe we were aware that the Appalachia Cruiser club existed. We believe that Keystone Cruisers better describes our club. The Appalachian name does not really associate well with PA - more likely with TN, WV, VA etc.

Please let is know if you have serious objections, otherwise we will move forward with the name "Keystone Cruisers".

Thank you,
Andy Zook

Aside for considering the same as a name for my shop, I like it better. Represent PA!

Do you still need more contact info from me Andi?

A little bit more background - back in the 90s there was a PA TLCA chapter club named Keystone Cruisers.

Nope, I think I have everything I need from you, thanks!

I do need everyone's TLCA numbers to submit. I need at least 6 to submit with our bylaws.

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Everyone, Just joined the TLCA yesterday. Glad to see there is an active PA group. I'd love to give my TLCA number to support the Keystone Cruisers name effort but I still haven't figured out how to find it! :( Kinda clumsy at this so apologies in advance.

Thanks much for the invite but I still have some work to do on my new-to-me '80 FJ40. I see you're right around the corner. I'm over by Marsh Creek. Any good shops you'd recommend around here that are FJ40 knowledgeable? I'm learning as I go, but I go slow!

Thanks, Ken

Hey Ken,
No shop recommendations, but I might be able to help you out, PM me.
Greg

Looks like they both have some club history. I like Keystone Cruisers. It's short and more PA-ish. If you still need TLCA #"s - 19477.

Hi Andy.

TLCA # 23089

That should give you at least six #'s.
