Running a little late but getting there. Had some trailer issues but all good now. Stopped in Bayfield but rolling again in a few.

I noticed when I was getting off the highway back in Indy to pick up Pete that the trailer pulled me pretty hard to the left. I messed with the controller let off some brake intensity and it got better, then I really didn't notice it much at all. I had in my mind to look at it before hauling Chunk home but it was going pretty good so far, until I came out of the pass headed down from 10,000 feet. The trailer was pulling pretty hard but I really needed the help slowing down. We pulled off about 3/4 the way down and saw the left two brakes of the trailer smoking pretty bad and the right two were cool. Glad I stopped. I must have caught the right brake wires on something back home, but the wires were still hanging. A little quick fix and all good now.

We made it to Durango around 1:00 and caught up for a while. Loaded Chunk up and leaving him at JT's house tonight. We grabbed a motel and are meeting at the brewery for the Rockies game in a while. Tomorrow morning we'll swing by JT's and hook up and head for home!

Chunk looks great! Looks like Blackie is getting his hamstrings tested. Similar look to what I had. I found the 7.3 is much happier under load. Had to remind myself we were dragging a mountain back there.

Yeah man! That was too cool. Perfect home town game in a great place.
I'm a big Michigan craft beer fan, but Steamworks brews are great and the brewery is very cool.

Stopped to sleep- Salina KS. Good ride today. Blackie pulls Chunk, 12ht, and trailer like a dream. Saw a couple of cruisers along the way. This old fella in Pagosa Springs was driving a very original totally solid 40, nice truck.
Spotted this mustard yellow and other colors 40 in a yard in La Junta I think.

The eastern Colorado stretch is sure vast, but beautiful . Pete caught a cool Blackie and Chunk shadow pic in the late day (at 70 mph). Almost lost his phone!
