IT"S ALIVE. Well, it is off the lift and driving. :D

OMG....that is just dirty. Well after slamming my running boards on a few things today i can honestly say....I WANT THAT TRUCK! Does the low-rider LC have a 2" lift also?

Lets see...

I left the wife... sold off all my worldly possessions... got a second job... and I am now renting a studio apartment....

OK, I am ready for you to start on my 100 Christo

Honestly, that pic is the LAST thing I needed to see right now !!

( Hmmm... I could always ride a bicycle to both jobs... Damn ! )

yeah...uhm i hate to say this but, your sexy ass truck has nothing on that thing! Wowww

The turbo is lifted 2" :D And you guys thought I was kidding this morning that it will drive. We started on Feb 13th, have about 100 hours into it at this point. I set a deadline that it had to drive end of March. We made it with 5 hours to spare. Joe did an awesome job on this. And all that in between his regular job at the shop. Come to CM and see it in person.

Now I am going to have a long cold brandy and coke. :D

question for you Christo, are you planning on making your front bumper accept either the LX or LC stock fog lights? You should make it accept the LX because the LX lights have turn signals in them too, and are uber cool projector beams :)

besides, all you guys are putting Lexus wheels on your trucks now, whats a pair of lex fogs to go with it :D

Bag the integrated lights...just weakens the bumper...and the facto's are next to useless anyway.

That is just plain wrong!

I will never been fully satisfied with my 100 if these keeps up.

Nice work. I'm curious to see the cost and feasibility of it to market.

I am pretty sure we will not do that. If this bumper comes to the market it will fill the need for a smaller lighter and closer to the body bumper. I have to look at the indication issue, but if we do add something, it will be a generic type indicator. It sounds easy to add factory lights, but not so easy in practice when you deal with heavy metal fabrication.

UtraFJ, that is one of the reasons we did this. You can not predict what would be involved with something before you actually do it. We now know a lot more than what we did 2 months ago. We know that it is possible but there is still a long way from here to being able to do it for customers. There are ways to shorten the time to do this, but not by much. We already decided if we do this again, we will pull the motor to make the first step in cutting and grinding a lot easier.

The axle that we chose to run also does not allow us to have ABS. If we stuck with a high pinion 80 diff, then we might be able to run stock 80 series steering and retain ABS, but I do not feel that diff was strong enough for what we wanted to do. If you stick to 35/36" tires you might be able to get away with the smaller diff.

Tomorrow we have to take it to get the caster measured. From the short test drive it feels like it needs more. The balls on the end of the axle is still loose, so we can still turn them for more caster. Once we have those dialed in, we will weld them and be ready for a better test drive.

I am really happy with how it turned out. The truck looks awsome on 39's :D

Can one get a peak at it if they were to stop by? Mine is running again, I am going shopping at Slee's. Sorry to rub it in folks, its only a 30 minute trip for me.

Great Job - It looks very "Ultimate"

I was by the shop yesterday and can say Joey did a great job with this project, it looks like a factory setup, and the 39's fit surprisingly well when it is twisted up :)

PS it is big, like really big

Gotcha Slee, ok here is my other suggestion which solves the signal problem and gives us some really good fog lights to go in there.

For us LX owners, tell us to go shove it and get the LC parking lights with 1157 sockets. And for fog lights, how about two small projectors...either HID or halogen. That way, the whole DOT requirements and all will be solved if you go with the LC setup for the LX.

I think we are not on the same page. The bumper we want to do is for more serious off-roading. I have never seen a light that is mounted in the wings of a bumper last.

Hey, John, latest N74L modification :D, seriously, that is the shock we are running in the rear :D

ok, so just make for serious offroading, dont worry about the lights then. :D You painted the wheels to match already? damn.

hahaha using a fork lift to flex it...awesome.

So in about 10 years we will see 100 series Land Cruisers running around like that, lol

i saw that rig yesterday at christos while joe was installing the front suspension arms.
those are some serious beef right there!
joe thought each arm was around 40+lbs

pretty sweet rig christo!!!

Just got back front leading runs in Sedona. I'm glad you showed us a few more pics. Looks like a great build Mr. Slee.

Quesiton: Only 5" front travel? Is that smaller amount due to physical limitations? IFS had 7.5" travel. Did I misunderstand something?
