Lighter would be better for sure, I sometimes get denied or have to.throttle up cause I'm trying to move so much weight even tho its a lot lighter than stock.

I wish I had driven my 40 Saturday, it would have been a lot more fun. Some parts of the trail were just work in the 60.

That was one of the biggest issues I had w/ my 62! The weight was a killer and one of the main factors in me building a 40.

And that was just it... It was a lot of WORK getting a rig that size through the trails we like to run CLEANLY and without body damage. I think that's the key... Wether or not you care about sheet metal or not.

Theres nothing Easy about wheeling when you have your Pup sitting in the front seat :steer:

Lol... Yeah... He added a different level of stress for sure.

This is your thread and feel free to tell me to stay on topic but, more pictures of the puppy please. I love watching giant breeds grow into monsters.

I'll keep it to the rig and puppy pics.
He went wheeling w/ me for the first time last weekend. He's put on over 5 lbs already!!
First is in the rig, next him w/ my friend mark while eating lunch on the trail.

That was the biggest reason I got rid of my 80-Series and got back into a mini truck. I would have went with a 40 but I can't afford one! LOL

Yeah... It gets spendy!!!
The sale of the blotch rig (my 62) was 45% of how I was able to afford my build.

Hence the NO WHEEELING FOR 2 YEARS!!!

Awesome build Chicago. Checking in finally. Other than the brakes, hows everything else holding up? How limber is that beast?

Nice to see ya posting again!!
Thing wheels awesome!! I did have to limit the up travel a LOT both front and rear, but.... Haven't noticed any deficits related to that. Plenty of down travel!!
Lovin it as a wheeler, but the road travel is DEAFENING!!! trade off I guess!! I'll just have to wear ear plugs!! :)

That is exactly what I do. No joke. Congrats on finalizing things. I think you should build a wagon so you have more room. Oh wait....:flipoff2:

Hope to be out there with you some time this summer.

X2 on earplugs.

Another reason to look forward to warm weather is the bikini top is a lot quieter.

Something to consider when you start the roof rack, I skip the bikini top when I have my roof rack. The plywood bottom provides enough shade and protection. Losing the bikini eliminates a lot of noise.

37's will be here Thurs!!!:bounce::bounce2:

 that didn't take long.

Hahaha! NOPE!!
Desert rat has a 6 mos same as cash deal, so... Why not!! :)
I DID SOUND pretty convicted though on keeping the 35's though, didn't I?!? :)

So what did you go with? Keeping the 15's or did you order rims as well in 17's?

Details man, sheessh. You would think after this many pages, we would have you trained by now.:flipoff2:

Jack

He had to go 17's...for that big brake kit he's been wanting/needing :D
