Those would make some awesome rocklights. Just make sure to RVT the hell out of the cut ends and maybe add a couple of zipties to back up the 3m tape.

Already done on the silicone!! :)
Had to wait to fully install them... Not my strong suit!
I too had thought of the rock light idea, also a strip on each side of the engine bay... :)
I'll have those spare wires used up in NO TIME!!

Do you plan on running the wires through the cage or just loom them and tie up

I loomed em up and zip tied em. I didn't wanna make Swiss cheese outta the cage.

That is really slick! I can think of a bunch of ways I'd use that product.

Can't wait to see some pictures showing how bright they are.

They are just crazy bright; 3 LEDs per inch. I put a 40" strip on my rear window and with its 120 degree spread, along with a mil-spec PWM dimmer, it illuminates clear to the back side of the 2nd row seat area...and outward just as far; it is one of the more useful mods I've done. They are also available in different temps...these eyes like the warm white. And the 3M tape is tenacious.

Glad they worked out for you Keith.

Yeah man!!! Thanks a ton for that recommendation!! Didn't get the rear installed yet, but the front is finished!!
Btw, I talked w/ rusty... The info he gave you was for the dimmer switch. He said I could use just any ole switch. :)

Link for the dimmer?

Speaker boxes painted, stuffed w/ insulating material, mounted. Speakers are in and everything is loomed up and back together.
Speakers and stereo actually sound pretty damn good.

Can't wait to hear it w/ road noise!!

Are you ready for Dead Horse?

If the weather allows we decided on that as our Feb Run.

Yeup!!!
Less do this SH!T!!

I might hitch a ride with somebody and bring the good camera so I can take better pictures.

Why would you do that and NOT wheel!?

Lol... A very selfless act, but it's the ideal run for you and I!! Air down in the driveway and go wheeling on a trail that will be a 4-5 on a 5 scale!!

If we can even finish it, who knows how the rocks have rolled around in the lower third of that canyon?

just floor it and bounce over them.

WOW!!! stretching a soft top on was a BITCH!!! ended up putting a space heater IN THE RIG and my propane heater outside in the garage. Got it about 99%.
And a shot of my license plate!!! I earned every bit of that!!

My fingers always hurt after I get my bestop on. I usually get it started, park it in the sun, and then use two tie down straps to put tension on the rear bar and stretch it out over a few days. I usually wait too long and it is cold necessitating putting a heater in it too. I hate having it on since the center bow makes it too tall (~1") to get out of the garage. Have to use a come-a-long to squish down the suspension.
