Hey guys, been a reader for years but never posted. Have a '14 200 series that wants some bigger shoes. Prefer to just lift the front to level it off and just enough clearance to avoid rubbing. Don't want to hack anything underneath and want to keep kdss operating. Would consider going to new suspension, OME or equal but would need to have that conversation. Know any shop that you could recommend. Individual with good mind and who can deliver is fine too. Thx for any help.

Not CLT but about 1.5 hours down 85, check out Marshall's (Mud handle: Trollhole) shop, Trollholes Cruisers. He has worked on my 200 and has done some nice aftermarket lifts on 200s specifically. Can find him in Upstate Cruisers or just google his shop for contact info.

Not to derail the thread but...while I understand the intended feature / functionality above, it has never worked for me. Meaning I've never received any kind of notification from the @... Bat signal.

I'm sure I'm in the minority though and likely attributed to me being too indolent to verify it is activated in my settings someplace...

Back to 200 lifts.

@cruiser4life (testing)

indolent |ˈindələnt| adjective1 wanting to avoid activity or exertion; lazy.2 Medicine (of a disease condition) causing little or no pain.• (especially of an ulcer) slow to develop, progress, or heal; persistent.DERIVATIVESindolently adverbORIGIN mid 17th cent.: from late Latin indolent-, from in- ‘not’ + dolere ‘suffer or give pain.’ The sense ‘idle’ arose in the early 18th cent.

NOW back to 200 lifts.

I think you can run 33s without a lift like the 100 series. Are you trying to get to 35's?

Get on Facebook and search for Trollhole's. Scroll through Marshall's posts to January 9 of this year to see a 200 with an Icon Tundra lift on 35's. It's a beast!

I'm around.

Welcome!

I found the wheel/tire database in the 200 section helpful for thinking about options (200 Series Tire and Wheel Size Database), but my high level summary of options:
1. no lift, run a 33 like 275/70/18 as @uzj100 mentioned
2. no lift but add OEM strut spacers to level front, fit slightly bigger tire like 295/70/17 (which I did, only rubs at full lock so far)
3. send 'er down to Marshall and go beast mode full Icon + Tundra front end + 35s :)

I mean yeah there are options in between, but....[whispers] number three....

There are other less expensive options than 3. But McLane (the guy who designed and made the light show for the Red Hot Chili Peppers tour) wanted the best of everything. He also kept his Kdss. The lift widens the track 3" front and rear. Which I think puts the tires right at the edge of the fenders. The Icon lift we did was a good two inches higher than the previous 200 hybrid lift we did with Bilstein struts. In all with the regear and the Harop lockers from Cruiser Brothers he spend over 15k on the project. I think that included some engine work as well though and some other goodies. But you hit a curb at 60 and never feel it.

If I sleep through the honking AND the curb hits, I hate to think what it will take to wake me up.

Does @elkaholic have any thoughts on this? Not too many 200 owners in the CLT area that haven't already posted here.
