Cool,

I'll likely come, just wasn't sure if there was an Asheville meeting coming up.

The more the merrier right!

Don't think I'll make it to Charlotte but an Asheville meeting is a good idea were starting to get a few of us out here and we have better beer in Asheville anyways :grinpimp:

Would love to go fellas but I am elbows deep in wiring the LC for 2 amps and some other stuff.

An Asheville meet would be cool just to grab a few beers. We could do a HAMOM for someone at my house once I pay my fees haha.

I'm sure there are a few of us in Upstate of SC that would be interested in attending an Asheville gathering...especially if its at one of the breweries! I had considered attending the gathering in Charlotte today but we had commitments until just now!

Great turnout! Tgadd brought out his buddy Jonathan in another nice 62. Greenbean (Zack) drove down the mountain in his new-to-him 410K+ 2000 100-Series that's in damn fine shape. Lowtops came out of hibernation on the short skinnies. Some Russian guy was there in a Praddo (by chance). David M rocked the topless red 40; I bet he's freezing right about now! Nick showed off the 60 ARB front and H55. Alex brought a 1953 Willys that has been in the family since 1955 and looks like it'll still be there when his kid learns to drive - great family history with that truck. Antonios was able to make it away from work and wife and new house in his nice 62. Shaun was on the BMW bike with the For Sale sign (not sure how this hasn't sold yet). Eric, Dave R, John V...I didn't take any pics and forgot who was at the other table, sorry about that. Food was pretty good again. Glad to see everybody.

Gotta start thinking about the December calendar and squeezing in a meeting. Of course, if a member wants to host a meeting at his/her place before or just after New Year's then feel free to post up here or reach out to me privately to discuss. I'd love to do it this year after a 2 year break so I can show off the new house repairs but I'm not sure we'll be done in time to plan anything, so please step up if you want to.

Greenbean made it back to AVL!
Well, Mills River Mwahahahaa

I had a blast today. Nice to see old faces and meet some new ones. My cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much. The greenbean is pretty impressive. THat's a lot of miles and still in great shape.
@tgadd keep us updated on when you open your business that will be a fun place to frequent.

Impressive gathering of 60/62 series! Was it one 60 and five 62's???

Believe so.

The story behind the Willys was great. Belonged to his dad who bought it in 1955 I think. Was the hunting rig on a 2000 acre ranch and the family vehicle for stuff. Lots of family members learned to drive in it and such.

Hopefully he will chime in as I know I have some details wrong and he can tell it a whole lot better.

Maybe a last minute caravan or carpool? Sorry if I left someone out. I'm sure I did.
Sorry I was Mr mommin it this weekend. I already subjected the kids to a round trip to CLT with no entertainment (the horror of pre-dvd vehicles) and didn't want to press my luck. Might be able to make the Asheville meet.

Cheers!
