As my battery is under the tray on the left side and I am going to move it I don't want it in the engine bay I was thinking of putting it in one if these battery boxes behind the seats in the cab and put one of my heavy duty kill switches in it

Would it be a good idea if the battery was in the cab at least if something goes wrong when I put the wiring back in I can hit the kill switch

I started to clean the intake manifold the sarvo but got rained out so will finish it tomorrow

But look at the difference in colour so far

I changed the glow plugs today before I put the intake manifold back on check them out

Reinstalled the injector pipes the sarvo as well as a new clutch slave cylinder

How do you adjust the slave properly as I adjusted it to the same length as the old one but it was not the same.
is it supposed to be solid with out movement because the whole thing is hard up against the back

Its suppose to have free play or you will burn the clutch out. I would buy a die nut with the same metric thread to extend the thread or run the old pushrod.

I had a spare few minutes today and drilled and tapped my new breather for my transfer case

Does the gear box need one if it has gearbox to transfercase has a bypass hose

If it does need one where do I put it

I was very busy today I measured and cut some new fuel lines and used the engine crane to put the cab back on the chassis and had to clean all of the mud and paint off the driveway that I spilt the other day

Had to pack everything back under tarps because it is supposed to rain for the next few days

I had one of those chrome ornaments in my hand 8 months ago and left at the farm where I found it

It been a while since I posted I haven't done much to the ute because of the weather bloody rain. I welded the oil return hole on the pushrod cover and reinstalled .
I finished painting the tub the other day and I am not happy the last of the paint I used was a lighter colour even though it was the same batch I will have to buy more but am on a strict budget know so might change to a different colour one that I don't have to get mixed just off the shelf

What do you guys prefer enamel or acrylic paint

Today I installed one of the new free wheel hubs a new avm heavy duty one very nice then it started to rain again

I have been spending most of my time on the wiring harness

looking real nice Chappo.... making me anxious to get down to painting, although i still have a few things to do before that did you manage to get a glow plug bus bar? my 2H has 4mm flex cable instead of bar. when i got the engine going i didnt have a bus bar so improvised and put in some cable. sometimes its handy to be a trained electrician

I got messy again today I cleaned the rest of the mud out of the back of the chassis I cleaned the brake calipers put new pads and springs in them and reinstalled both of them put on the other free wheel hub aswell will do some rust prep and painting tommorro
