Changing square headlights on FJ62 for round FJ60 headlights? (1 Viewer)

I did try searching for previous threads, but came up empty. Someone else has had to have done this before, right? I love the look of the FJ60 grill with the round headlights, but the drivability of the FJ62.

How difficult is this to do?

i Love those round Jeep headlights that have the driving lights around the perimeter and then full headlight in the center. Is this type of light available for or comparable with the 62 grill?

You need a fj60 radiator support to do the conversion.

"60 parts needed to convert your 62 to round eyes:

Core support
grill
grill support
front valence
turn signals
healight buckets
head lights
head light trim

The front fender needs to come off, to swap cores supports."

And headlight harness.

Also, you'll have to open your A/C system to remove the core support.

Its funny, I had the opposite feeling, I waited for a 62 just so I could have the 4 headlights
