Can it be made...just like that? I'm using that space for the body of a ham radio (and yeah, it's just sort of floating around in there now ). Having something with the sides there means I could mount it and stop wear on my cabling.

As promised, these are the two versions: (left) one is just a big box, (right) the other with slotted dividers.

Got it. I'll take a V1 w/o the insert then. A black or dark grey that matches the interior of that space would be great. Thanks!

What is the height/depth of the insert and of the entire piece? Leaning toward with insert.

So am I letting you know the prototype I'd like to test or what I would like in the end? Is this version deeper than the one you sent me last time? I am leaning towards testing V2. I think I already know what I can put in V1. So seeing V2 might help me see if there is anything I can use the organization for or if I'd prefer just a large box in the end. If I am choosing color for the prototype, I am thinking black on the outside and a bright orange insert for some contrast for visibility.

If just the depth changed, you could probably just use the bottom from the first prototype if you decided you didn't like the V2 but everything else fit tighter. I could be mistaken though.
