I'm going to remove the CD changer from the center console of my 03 LC. Probably get something from Ben3d to replace it. Also plan to remove the Navigation drive under the passenger seat. Couple of questions:

Is there a market for these parts?

Do I need to do any wiring to keep everything else working properly?

I have a Tesla style head unit installed and I bypassed the factory amp when I installed the new unit. I think I've heard some vehicles needed to have some wires spliced to keep a speaker working if the nav drive was pulled. I tried searching but it's hard to find anything from my phone on the forum.

You will need to jump pins 1->2 (pink to pink) and 10->11 (violet to violet) on the N2 connector, formally into the navigation ECU. The nav ecu uses only the front left speaker for voice guidance, this will reconnect the speaker after pulling the unit.

I've had my nav delete parts listed for a while on here, not many bites. Curious how they would do on ebay, I'll put them up there eventually.

If you want the non DVD console box, its part 58913-60010... good luck finding one haha. I wound up buying an entire center console from a non-nav cruiser.

Thanks! I thought I read something about those wires. I'll probably just junk all the stuff I pull out. Might see if there is any interest in one of the Facebook groups but don't want to put much effort into selling it.

Not sure how accurate inventory is on this site.. but it shows the box to be available. 58913-60010 PANEL, BOX, NO.3 for Toyota - https://toyotadxb.com/spare-parts/toyota/panel-box-no.3-5891360010/

Is it safe to assume that you are deleting the factory NAV and just using it from the new MFD? What type did you go with. Not to highjack but my 6-Disc Cassette changer in the console shorted out so I removed it and now I don't have Audio function at all as well as backup camera or NAV. I have been looking into the Teyes units and what they offer. Id hate to loose the factory look BUT I cannot be without audio or backup camera! Phone navigation has always worked for my use.

I bought a Rhino Radio. I got the latest one they had for the 100 series. I really like it but be aware that while the installation was plug and play there were some things to fiddle with. I ended up removing Android Auto as well as the voice command apps due to strange issues that popped up from time to time. Also, mirroring your phone to the big display won't work unless you have a wifi hotspot besides the one on the phone. Overall, I'd do it again and have no regrets.
