I want to know how deeper it can go. My 2000 LC does not have this CD changer. I purchased the center console from eBay just for this project. I have no idea what is under the CD changer slot. You guys might be able to measure how deeper it could go. Just want to utilize all the space down there.
For now, it is not deep entough for my G20 (need 2 in. deeper).

I did not remove disc changer yet but measured the depth of the adjacent storage area about 6 and 7/8" from interior of storage area to top of disc changer fascia. See photos.
I do have calipers so can do better measurements of the test print once I remove the disc changer!
On a related note - anyone else's center console storage get surprisingly hot? I know the heater duct is below console but thought there would be some insulation.

This is what is below it. Added 1/4 inch of metal to the bottom plate. I drilled mine out.

now I’m totally interested in the Bluetooth model, solely to do a CD changer delete and holster install
@BenCC from my measurement of my 2006 LX, it's less than 7.5" deep. Unfortunately I don't have a metric tape ruler but it's also difficult to see the measurement with the console in place. As you can see in the pic above, there's a small rising part under the changer and that's the side I measured from as the other side is a few mm deeper. For those removing their center console to get to the changer, mine had 4 screws on each side (2 in back, 1 in middle, and 1 in front) and not 3 from the instructions I linked to above.

Based on your measurment, the pocket can go much deeper. I will send out three copies of the short version and two copies of the tall version for testing.
I’m so happy to see you guys are working on this. I’ve been trying to source a non nav cubby for the last few months and keep coming up empty. I’m definitely in to buying one of these when they’re ready. Also happy to test (cd changer is currently removed in my 03), but it looks like you all have that handled.
