Anyone out there running CCOT HFS 3" lift kit or springs on their FJ-60? I was looking at these and the OME heavy springs and trying to decide.

I am not going to do a full kit as I want different shocks, shackel reversal, u-bolt flip kit etc. so I am just shopping springs.

I want to run them with the shackel reversal kit. Anyone know if the HFS sprins will work with the shackel reversal?

Any opinions or feedback on the HFS vs OME springs.

I am looking for around 4-5" total lift so a 3-4" spring w/1.5" shackel reversal is what I have been looking at. Hoping to run 35" tires. I have a warn 8247 winch and plan on adding a ARB bull bar to so that Is why I am looking at the heaveys.

Thanks for any help, opinions, advice.

Any spring will work with a shackle reversal. In my opinion, you would be better off going with a spring over for the 4 to 5 inches of lift you are after, but that isn't what you asked. I have the OME springs which are very nice. From what I have heard, the HFS springs are also nice, but a little harsher ride. Based on the feed back I have seen, you will most likely be happy with either one. Now, the price for shipping to Alaska is another story....

There is also another spring out there that you might want to consider based on your lift requirements:

X2 on this comment and I don't heard .. I know ..

if you are looking for more than 4" of lift .. jump into a SO setup ..

Spring over.
Save yourself the wasted money of a SUA lift. Also an ARB and a winch does not justify a set of heavy springs either, the rear will be very stiff. I would do meadiums. but your best bet is still a spring over with an add a leaf up front or possibly swapping some springs from something else into the stock pack to beef it up some.

People over complicate spring overs.
