I had something similar happened with mine. For some reason the LCs comings from the south-east will have a different system (according to the Toyota dealership). I could never trace mine to the south-east, but it was a weird case for sure.
I have a Florida LC with the Audiovox aps-400 TDS installed. I have the same ELVAT5G remote.. and found the main module 00016-30965-01 tucked up behind the main fuse box above drivers left foot. My FOBs died, and in exasperation I simply removed the main module .. problem solved, I can start the truck again. Am considering removing the entire TDS assembly, selling it, and getting a simple door lock remote.
Here is the manual for the system, I haven't seen it online.. hopefully it will be helpful to others.

Hey Gary,Oh yes, that alarm is a PITA. I removed the entire TDS assembly (its listed for free on this site). Was satisfying to clear out the vampire taps. Installed this system "uxcell Universal Car Remote Control Central Kit Door Locking Keyless Entry System 12V" from Amazon. Pretty simple, specially while clearing out the old system. Did not hook up lights/horns to the new system. Only issue is the key fob unlock does work if you've manually locked the car via the door.
A few more pics:Bringing this one back to life. I’m working on the Keyless Entry on my 97 40th Anniversary Reatorstion. Per this thread, I found that I also have a Southeast Only Dealer Installed Prestige Platinun by Audivox alarm system, model APS-400 (corresponding Keyless remote FCC ID is: ELVAT5G. Model APS 95 BT3).
Before I chunk the system in the trash, I wanted to see if I good bring it back to life. I bought 2 new APS95BT3 Prestige remotes off EBay for $20 each (and free returns). When I went to program them, I quickly figured out that I do not have power to the system at all. I removed the knee panel portion of the dash and this is what I found. Clearly a lot of unplugged stuff. The 10am fuse is fine, but all the unplugged stuff is likely why I have no power. Can anyone help me decipher what is going on here?
And if this is pointless and I just need to kill off the system and do a Viper one or something, how would I get this back to stock?
