The led and the LC sticker really balance it out.
I want to purchase a Campteq pop-up. I have money and I have an 80-series. Unfortunately I cannot seem to get through to Campteq / Eric. I have left voicemails and emails but Have not received a reply. Now I see that the Campteq domain is available. Does anybody know what's up? Should I just give up? Or is there some other means of contacting the company / Eric.I have been talking with the owner Eric of CampTeq and I’m about to pull the trigger on one of these ultra cool pop up campers.
Dump the Lightway off road trailer, dump the RTT and be the first on my block with one.
What do you guys think? - CampTeq.com

Thanks for any info.
Im in contact with Eric and nothing is going to happen anytime soon but that is not to say it will not happen sometime.
Come to the dark side already. For those that are wondering I did not cut my top ......................yet![]()
Gotcha. I have a small camo tarp that I've duck taped into the shape of the roof (think wrapping a present) that I throw on the back in bad rain. Accomplishes that same thing as yours.
I know all about awning frustrations. My Hannibal shrank and forced me to cut up the custom aluminum mounts Eric made for my top. Was considering another for the side until this happened. Since I already have the mounts I'm considering making my own.
BIOR should have released by now ( I saw the prototype) Hannibal style awning you might want to check out.
Phil, got a link? Did a quick Google search but didn't come up with what you referenced here. thx.....
Nice writeup on the CampTeq, BTW.
Ditto.
On the recent trip up to Utah we got rain on several evenings, and I was PO'd that the damn thing started leaking.
Not to mention the worry about the plastic D ring for the velcro strap. Once that thing breaks, then what? It would have cost them maybe .05 cents more to put metal D rings in instead...
In yet another story of Campteq lineage, back in the day some people would made thier camper out of a huge hollowed out log. I think the aluminum Campteq is easier on the suspension...
