I followed that build thread for a while. Like so many, it started to drag out (I am admittedly a bit ADHD) and I lost track of it. Did it get completed?

My future plans for the window opening it to build and install a 6" deep removable shelving unit for camping and travel supplies I most frequent.

saw a few of these LC'S with the solid rear window. Unfortunately, no hinges or ability to open.

Over the years I have seen a bunch of these Flip - Pacs at the overland expo and was able to talk to a guy about it and he enjoyed it.

Good looking tacoma for sure. A lot of people have been super stoked on their flip pac over the years (myself included), and then others..... not so much.

Do a search for "Flip pac torsion bar delete" and you'll see what I'm talking about. I believe that is part of the reason why AT Overland out of AZ stopped carrying them. (don't quote me on that)

That looks really nifty!

On my Taco it would not survive though - I have many scratches on my roof and one tree ripped off one of my gutter strips.

Az trails are too overgrown for such a nice tent

A CampTeq is much stronger than the roof of any vehicle, any RRT, and most roof racks.

Cant dance on top of any RRT I have seen
