BVSV 1 and 2 have been broken, and just noticed after complete vacuum hose replacement. what ill effects should i have been experiencing? it seems they've been dried out since i got the truck...
i will call in the morning unless anyone knows offhand if BAP carries these $$HTy little things?

the VTV going to the distributor also broke during the vacuum overhaul. something i can buy at napa, checker, BAP? i understand what the vtv does, so would i lose advance say on the highway after being at one RPM for a while?

... on the highway after being at one RPM for a while?

Yur not going to be moving very fast at 1 RPM!! .....Sorry;)

The BVSV's are Toyota parts. You're only gonna get those used or through OEM sources. I broke one of mine before I figured out this trick to relieve some pressure on those during install.

yea you got me at "one rpm"... i have no response.

realllyyyy ten years huh. looks like i have some garbage fishing to do. i busted those things bad though, snapped both the vacuum ports off, then broke in half... these things need a stretcher, a sling, JB weld, superglue and hopes and dreams.

still have the question... do i need them? what do they do? my common sensology says they're there to break, someone prove me wrong.
