I bought a used replacement BVSV from CruiserParts only to break it installing a vac line . The vac lines running to the BVSV are only a couple of inches long and install puts a lot of pressure on 20 year old plastic. I've since replaced with new, but those buggars are spendy.

 I decided to solve the stress on nipple problem by putting loops in the vac lines to decrease pressure during install. I think I've broken my last one (famous last words).

Been there, wish I did what you did though, I craked my replacing the radiator and did not know it for a while.

Thanks

Mark

Yep, just did it this weekend.

They are very brittle. Guess I'll be replacing them both!

How much did you pay and where did you get them?

I called CDan today, but maybe he's out for the week?

I've broken those plenty of times, the loops are a great idea- not that I worry about them now (cough, cough, Vortec, cough, cough) :D

I only had to replace the Violet one. $15 from CruiserParts for the used one I broke, $41.44 for a new one from SOR. If you have to replace the Pink one, it's more like $60-65 new. Don't know what C-Dan can get it to you for, but probably would save you a few bucks.

hahaha!!!!!

You'll have to get pics of my old 2f from Dynosoar, he has it now...

always bought new ones because of the brittle old nipples..........oh that just sounds wrong :D
