Re-adjusted the booster rod to master clearance to “spec”. I think it’s going to be the solution to the hot dragging brakes. But it isn’t hot enough to test again quite yet

Paired @TRFarmers B pillars with @TRAIL TAILOR door seals. Looking fresh and even quieter in the cab.

All that said, getting close to dialed.

The steering honestly sucks, I’m really thinking 80 box, even if I have to mess with accessory locations. So much slop even fully adjusted 60 box

Nice work. Looks like it was all designed as one.

I tell people, with SCS, Xometry, Fusion 360, 3D printing accessibility, 3D scanning accessibility, YouTube tutorials, cost of welders coming down, etc, we are entering an amazing time for projects. And this is only just the beginning.

Thanks Matt, and 100% agree. We are living in perhaps a golden age of access to design and rapid fabrication for the average guy in their garage. I cant wait for the next gen of 3d scanning to hit the consumer level market.

Awesome looking solve. I am very 3d modeling curious after seeing you crank out a bunch of these parts.

I'll be interested to see where you end up here. The 80 box is a quicker ratio, and beefier, but same basic design as the 62 box. I swapped an 80 box in and after new and adjusted drag link ends, sector shaft adjustment, and recent alignment from a decent shop, I still have some slop that bugs me. I am seriously thinking about puling mine again and double checking the input shaft preload since the play seems to be on the steering shaft side. This is a decent video that I came across in my search.

Fusion 360 is free for personal use and is pretty good. I’m fortunate to have a background with CAD tools so I picked it up pretty quick. Lots of YouTube tutorials on it especially with the proliferation of 3D Printing.

thanks for the note on the steering, I need to go through the other parts again and check it all.

Need to wrap my old brain around this too
