Lots of audio work. I love a nice sounding system, well rounded. "Small" sub box mounted to the rear seat steel backer.

3D printed up some brackets to fit the new speakers in the front doors.

Kenwood unit mounted up and looks great. Wireless CarPlay was a must. Note you need the last plastic cover behind the screen installed for it to boot. Not sure why they do that....

First console fit-up. Fits pretty good! Finally get some cup holders, a nice phone tray, and transmission temp gauge installed

Damn man! Nice build and writeup, love what you did for the A/C condenser. Did you use the Mosley lines for that?

Thanks! I used hoses from ColdHose. They will custom build basically anything. Really nice to work with and super fast. The Mosley lines wouldn’t work for my setup

Put a textured finish to the console and test fit all the accessories.

Testing a 3d printed phone slot insert

Closed up the old shifter hole with a SS plate, grommet and gasket.

I am going to call Lokar tomorrow because I cannot get this shifter to shift into Park and Drive, its one or the other. The amount of slop in their mechanism either was not caught by QC or bad design

This is selected in park. I can manually move the lever between park and reverse.....

I'm sure this was covered at some point, but any reason you didn't keep the original 62 Shifter? With a little modification it seems to works well with the 6L80E.

Wanted tap shift, and eventually the console. But yah i could have modified the stock one to work better honestly. Committed at this point

Edit: also forgot to say that I was missing all the oem t-handle parts originally when I bought it. Had a hell of a time finding replacements

Based on feedback from @cruisermatt and others, I am planning on going with this fuel pump for now. It’s an OEM for the 4Runner with the v8. I constantly found variable reports on the other options. Will report back any issues

The Lokar shifter was sent back for rework. They called today said it should be ready early next week. Guy on the phone said it had too much slop

Just installed two of those pumps this week.
big thing to avoid is the Corvette filter/regulators

Work began on exhaust finally. Started by rerouting the vacuum lines like @Dubs2017. This method was the best for running dual cats. I considered going to a single but I wanted to get started and stop returning crap to summit.

Threw in two heat shields on this side for the hoses. Put one farther forward too.
