Lots of stuff going on the past couple weeks. Two things were on my list before putting the tub and bed back on the frame - fuel lines and rear brake line.

All fuel lines plumbed from the tank -

Dropped my hard top and windshield frame off at the local glass and tint shop. They knocked it out of the park!

New windshield cut and installed -

New side and rear glass cut, tinted, then installed. They also tinted and installed the corner glass -

Tomorrow I'll get the roll cage in and start laying out some wiring and battery placement. Moving pretty fast now. Was going to try and have it running by next weekend, but forgot about the holiday!

It is looking great!

Fun times....

Got the roll cage in. I realized I never test fit the cage with the wiper motors in. My heart sank when I figured out how close they might be, but there ended up being plenty of room -

Put in the Toyota dealer special $10 per light Koitos.... can't believe they are so cheap! Also don't know how I got them. They were here next day, but the local dealer is now showing a 200 unit back order -

Things are moving quick! Tomorrow - radiator hoses, intake hose, and whatever else I have time for

Worked on the intake, power steering reservoir, gas and brake pedal, radiator hoses and a few other things.

For anyone looking for a factory-type plastic finish, this SEM aerosol is awesome. It's a little spendy but the result is worth it.

The intake tubes were polished aluminum. This is the end result -

Awesome work!

Hard to tell in the picture angle, are you able to squeeze in the mechanical fan?
Thank you

Yes, the mechanical fan is in there with the oem fan clutch. After trying electric fans with the 4.7 and eventually moving everything around the change to the mechanical fan, no way I was going through that again.

In my opinion, there's no replacement for a mechanical fan with a V8 swap... Especially while running AC. I realize there are a lot of V8 swaps in general with electric fans, but in a 40, the front is so narrow and it really limits the size of the radiator you can run.
