Layoff forces sale. At this point I need ed the money more than I need a planned resto project to throw money at! Sorry for the cross post, I’ll get a better for sale add up tonight. Just trying to get my money back out of it. $23k
$21,850.
$20,750, $$21,000 but with new wheels & tires. New price $19,500 $18,500. They say used car prices are softening so I figured I should right size my price.

I met up @gr8ful and took his 73 for a drive. Abe was extremely personable, knowledgable and passionate about Land Cruisers! The 73 itself was exactly as it appears and drove well. 2H, 4H, 4L - all shifted nicely and performed as expected.

Unfortunately for me, it was a bit more of a project than I have space to take on right now. Abe has worked hard to procure just about everything this 73 needs to get it back to its glory, right down to the turbo kit to help out the 1HZ at altitude. For someone that has the space and skills this is an excellent turn key package with almost everything included to get you going. Abe, thanks for taking the time to meet with me and best of luck with the sale!

Thanks for the honest review! I’m honestly stunned that it hasn’t sold. You can’t gather up all of this for anywhere near the price. Plus it took ages of time & effort to get them all. A lot of value & effort savings in this package.

Hey all,
I’ve been out of contact the last few months due to a recurrent family emergency with my MIL. Sorry to be absentee for so long to anyone I owe responses to.

I decided to keep the widened 40 series rims for a different truck. So this truck now has new wheels & tires on it. 225/85r16s. 5 matching wheels & tires. They are actually a couple of years old now, but have less than 500 miles on them. Off brand muds, but still a nice little combo & most importantly means that the truck can just be driven off if you wanted to drive it home.

Bump!

Saw this one over the weekend and it's a strong runner. Decided a 73 was too small for my needs so it's still available.

Engine starts right up from cold. Pulls well up the steep grades, but will benefit from the turbo Abe sourced.

I think Abe has represented the truck accurately in the pictures and descriptions here. For someone who has the time/ability, it could be a cool restoration. For someone just looking to wheel a fun truck, that could be done for a while before rust relegates it to scrap metal. He's got all the material to keep it on the road for years to come

Hey Abe, my name is john did you ever wind up selling your truck? If not, I am definitely looking for one serious buyer. Please let me know.

Hey John!
I apologize for the slow response. I’ve been traveling a ton for work lately & just been so behind on everything as a result I’ve not been on here lately. I do still have the truck for sale, if you are still interested! I’ve got a couple of people interested, but I’ve left them hanging too, so I not sure if they still have interest or not. But I’m checking in with them now. No deals or anything yet.
Best
Abe

Congrats @gr8ful! If you have any spare parts left after the deal or the buyer doesn't want certain items please let me know, would love to work something out on them!
What are you looking for exactly ? I will be picking the cruiser up in June and might be persuaded to sell some of those parts and can even bring other parts with me to Colorado from my shop in TX

Congrats to seller and buyer! That was one of the best deals I have seen in a long time!
