Pulled parts for around 4 hours. Only thing missing when I got there was 3 wheels.

Spent close to $500 but scored lots of good parts.

For those that may not have heard ... there was an HDC meeting this morning at the boneyard harvesting on a fresh FZJ80.

Funny, it looked to me like somebody pulled the knuckle assemblies out just far enough to harvest that ultra-desirable high-pinion diff. Or, so it seemed. Maybe.

Typical sign of knuckle grease mixing with gear oil. The axle seal on the driver's side had failed.

After the meeting this morning I went to get the 7 wrap front springs off the 80 at upull for my 4Runner, had them lift it up and move the stands so now the axle housing is hanging there and should be an easy pull

Thanks for the idea to use the engine hoist, when I told them what I was planning they just lifted it with the fork thing they use to move cars, I barely had to do any work after that. Hopefully someone will snag the housing before they crush it, seems like that 80 has been there awhile now

Color codes are orange orange white 7.75 wraps and double purple gray white 7.5 wraps.

went to upull today and the newest 3rd gen 4runner has a full old man emu/bilstein lift that looks pretty new
