I just saw a 1993 4R, 4WD, V6 landed yesterday.

1991 FJ80 Land Cruiser just landed at UPull. It was in pretty rough shape, lots of rust on the under carriage, head gone, etc. I pulled some A/C lines to relocate my dryer.

Long live the mighty 3FE. Rest in peace.

If anyone is in the area and wants to make some $$ pulling it for me, that
would be sweet. I wont be able to get down to ABQ during working hours until next week.

You'll need two people to pull the rear hatch off. I watched a gentleman do it by himself and it was challenging for him.

I was hoping someone would sacrifice an L4-L5 for the cause. Lucky me, I get the herniated disc all to myself.

I've been sacrificing L5-S1 for years and just learned two weeks that I'm officially bone on bone in that space. :bang:

If I go to the yard in the next few days, I'll drag @pappy with me since all he does is watch Married with Children and eat Bon Bons after retirement.

Bring it. I'm sure I can find something to wrench on. I never did get down there to look at the T100.

Fellas,

Please grab/steal as many of these recovery eyebolts from various cars! I went to pull a car out of the snow bank, and theirs was missing so I busted out the one I have. Turns out they are different sizes :bang:. Man was that frustrating. A two min recovery turned into a half hour of snow shoveling and pushing BS.

Typically these things live in the spare tire compartment or the glove box.

Thanks.

I don't know if I would trust one of those for more than an easy pull. They aren't a recovery point, but a place to tow from. I would much rather run a choker through a wheel if the car was really stuck.

Easy pull is mostly what I end up doing up on the Crest hwy.

100% agree. You and I grabbed a couple a few years ago. They were different threads as I recall.

Yeah and with a winch probably not too much strain.
This is gonna amuse you. Stuck people keep wanting to move uphill, even though it doesn't feel like common sense. I winch or pull them downhill and turn them around, sometimes both at the same time 😁.

Then I tell them to go home, in the most kindest way possible. I did get a phone # last year doing this 👍
