AH that makes a lot more sense now. I was searching for a solution that didn't require moving the fuse panel, but it sounds like you did indeed have to. Sorry for :deadhorse: about this topic. I live in the NW and spend a lot of time in snow/muck in the winter and NEED to have a large washer bottle. I've had trips where i was filling the bottle FULLY with each tank of gas.
My main reason for wanting dual batteries is to run a standalone setup for a fridge and such. Going to a larger single deep cycle would probably be sufficient if i carried a self jumper, it just wigs me out a bit.
The time waiting for my turbo is making screws come loose in my brain :flipoff2:
I run a big dometic DZ 95, an Interstate agm group 31 and carry a Noco boost pro GB150 jumper pack.
Never had a concern. Save your coin for other wants.

To be clear, I intentionally developed it with dual batteries in mind. I’m just not doing it that on my truck.

So if I am understanding you correctly: You designed the turbo kit with dual batteries in mind, but with no provision for the washer bottle to be relocated so we will need to come up with our own relocation method if we want the washer bottle along with dual batteries?

Washer bottle is low priority and will make literally zero people decide not to go turbo just because they can't use a washer bottle for their windshield. I did not develop a kit for it because not only was it a side distraction for the bigger picture but there were others already working on a solution, namely Delta VS. And no, I will not be making a provision for a washer bottle. Perfect opportunity for someone else to accessorize my accessory :p

Edit: the bigger issue was being able to mount the second battery. I solved that.

I wasn't asking to be confrontational. I bought a turbo kit without knowing whether or not the washer bottle will be usable. Hell, I bought the turbo kit before there was one. I just wanted clarity on what was being discussed.

Since you brought it up- It sounds like a second battery is going to be tight with the turbo installed. Can you elaborate on what the issue is? Is the solution something you will be selling or is it a home brew solution?

Oh its not you. I got a PM from someone just yesterday complaining about this very issue and that I was negligent for not designing a solution into the project. I can only just laugh at this point. Its clamps and washer bottles that just make me laugh at this point.

Can't have nothing nice :(

Im in the dual battery + washer bottle boat. I'll be working on a solution myself and watching close to see what others are coming up with. Joey, where are you mounting it for the meth injection?

This whole project is a master class of what all mechanical engineers lovingly call "feature creep". Its why they get up in the morning. HAHAHAHAHA

At my job we call it "scope creep" :flipoff2:
As another engineer i get it. Also as an engineer i want nice solutions to every little OCD bit, like the washer bottle, but that is NOT a hard thing to figure out. Was just trying to make sure I wasn't reinventing the wheel if it had or was being done.
(also not the guy calling Joey negligent just to be clear)

For me the stock location of the washer bottle IS the meth storage bottle. I just modified it. Its in my turbo build thread. I'm sure I posted those pics here as well. The nozzle location is a modified elbow that I will make available after I'm done testing. The pump itself I still have to make a decision on the location.

On the sidelines but laughing on how not difficult it would be to put a washer bottle pretty much anywhere else if you needed to. I go through gallons of stuff in the winter since it snows here so I'm quite acquainted in filling it up.

My stock washer jar has been my methanol injection tank for close to 20 years.

Lol I was going to send you a complaint that the turbo makes my rig heavier. Should be disclosed by exact number of pounds
