I’m getting really annoyed with BorgWarner and their new lean manufacturing regimen. Anyway, the pallet is getting shipped out tomorrow and I should get it early next week. I’ll be contacting the next batch of you shortly.

WOW! That’s a few turbos! How many turbos are in there?

Hi all,
I am Omer from Turkey. I ve got a european spec 08.1997 fzj80. its on 100k mile and runs like new. i want much power and read forum, i bought precision 6262 turbo, t4 tubular manifold and 44mm tial wg. My aim is 7psi boost.

My question is about obd1/obd2 trucks. In my lc there are no obd2 socket in dash but it has got a new type maf sensor. Also it has got only one o2 sensor. I think its because of different emission standarts..

Finally is this lc handle 7psi of boost like your obd2 lcs?

@Delta VS Dave has the fender mounted washer bottles.

Sounds like those are the 3fe bottles that are available. They require moving fuse panel, etc.
Still trying to track down this elusive jdm corolla bottle that i've heard works without moving tons of stuff :hmm:

If not those of us with dual batteries/turbo will have to come up with a new solution. Not the end of the world as my dual batteries aren't in yet but was planning on doing it when i install the turbo.

Here’s what I’ll say...
I have dual batteries in my SC’d truck. I don’t think I’ve needed it more than a handful of times and each time an Anti-Gravity jump starter would have solved it. I’m comfortable coming to that realization.

Not doing dual in the turbo truck because I just don’t need it for what the I tended use of the truck is.

The SC’d truck has the corolla bottle in the fender and it was a lot of work to not only get it in but to source pieces and to move the fuse panel.

All of that work on the SC’d truck’s washer bottle and frankly, I never use the washers. Not in years. I just clean them every time I fill up which is every other day it seems.

On the turbo truck the washer bottle has been adapter for meth injection. Although it will work for the windows just fine, I am seriously considering unhooking the washer pump. Of course this is fine for me living in SoCal but even during the 3000 mile cross country trip home I just clean the windows at the gas station.

I think my point is the struggle for a washer bottle solution is overstating the need for one. YMMV 😜

AH that makes a lot more sense now. I was searching for a solution that didn't require moving the fuse panel, but it sounds like you did indeed have to. Sorry for :deadhorse: about this topic. I live in the NW and spend a lot of time in snow/muck in the winter and NEED to have a large washer bottle. I've had trips where i was filling the bottle FULLY with each tank of gas.
My main reason for wanting dual batteries is to run a standalone setup for a fridge and such. Going to a larger single deep cycle would probably be sufficient if i carried a self jumper, it just wigs me out a bit.
The time waiting for my turbo is making screws come loose in my brain :flipoff2:
