Joey, my plan was to lava wrap the downpipe. If you have a more effective, custom alternative for doing that I would be a buyer for sure.

Going in! None of the struggles with my earlier homebrew setup. This is a product that doesn't leave you hanging. Thanks Joey!

I'll have to deal with some exhaust weirdness due to my aftermarket cats but things are still close enough to tie in to the downpipe.

Looks like I need to clock my turbo oil drain/ supply 180deg. Looking for the Borg Warner procedure/torque. Also have to track down some green loctite.

It’s really simple to clock the turbine and compressor. There are four bolts holding two curved clamps. Just loosen all four on the side you want to spin. The entire turbo is technically three pieces and you can clock each piece independently.

Don't worry about the torque spec. "Snug" is good enough :)

"almost good enough" what does that mean?

Do any green threadlocker brand works? Loctite, Permatex, Vibra-Tite etc.

Loosen the bolts as little as possible to get the center section to rotate, rotate it into position and then torque the aluminum compressor housing bolts to 10-15ft/lbs and the cast iron turbine housing bolts to 20-25ft/lbs.

For those of you that haven't seen the instructions I am very impressed with the level of effort that Joey put in. It really is something you would expect from a big company like Holley or Edelbrock. Certainly not a one man band (and son and brother).

Impressive.

Maybe I missed it in the previous 217 pages but where do you suggest mounting the coalescing filter for the York? Assume it doesn't fit under the intake nicely with the turbo and piping sitting there.

Also, what is the consensus on the best washer fluid bottle for those of us with dual batteries?
