Oh SNAP!!!!! Are we actually here? OMG I can’t believe it!!!! Guess all my nagging worked!!! And it’s only twice the price of a CXRacing kit(not carb approved)!!!

So who is ordering on the fifth with me?!?!? Let’s see who is gonna sport the retro turbo sticker......speaking of which, @NLXTACY , can you include some OG turbo stickers???

Well not shipping yet. That’s all dependent on BW’s turbo supply, which is currently crap. But I’m working on it.

We prolly should start a new thread

"Divorced because of Witt's end Turbo...."

about to order this without wife approval. Odds of me living?

I was an early investor... then just started working it into the conversation... you know, if we had a turbo, we wouldn’t be going so slow up this hill.... you know, WHEN we have our turbo, we won’t be so slow going up this hill....

The reason for my divorce will be because mine is OBD2 and hers isn't. No turbo girl, deal with it.

Get her a Cummins!

Yup, zactly!! I told the GF that we ain't heading west on I-40 due to the constant head wind unless the turbo comes. She agreed.

Well I would have to say my wife is pretty incredible! I am constantly buying or selling or improving something no asking or permission needed! Then again I supercharged her 18 4runner as a surprise, so she probably accepts the fact that no matter what we own it's going to get improved or modified to some extent! She understood what she was getting into when she married me lol

I'm on the fence but after the drive last week from seattle to bozeman and back a turbo would have definitely been nice to have for some of those big passes.
Could we see any videos/ideas on what to expect? I know its not going to double the power or anything but would like to understand what we're getting into.
It's a big investment though well worth it for something planned and thought out. I'm just in the boat that if I go down the turbo rabbit hole i'm gonna have to sell my DD and start commuting in the cruiser :steer:

I just drove from Yuma, AZ (230' asl) to bishop ca (over 4000') and up into the sierras. I need a turbo. a heavy 80 plus altitude plus snow equals a lot of "this sucks"

yeah i would like to know about running temps under load too. ill be looking into this a lot throughout the summer. see if the phoenix guys report any hot temps...

I sold it as a "tow upgrade" for her camper :hillbilly: Our last trip on I-80 westbound into the typical Wyoming headwind at 8mpg made it an easy sell. I also promised that Joey's version would not give her carbon monoxide poisoning--that's on you, @NLXTACY
