No it will work with coilovers, you just have to remove your cruise control and run your coilovers through there. ;)

But it looks like it will interfere with coilovers :(

Well part of the problem is that I started the thread and Joey actually took the ball and ran with it. So the idea of an intercooler was definitely kicked around and the parts were even talked about, but ultimately the production decision falls in Joey's lap and I am not sure if you have actually looked at the pictures posted above, but to satisfy EVERYONE trying to make it fit with:

Snorkel
Stock Air Box
Dual Batteries
Air compressor
Stock MAF
Landtank MAF
etc

There just is not the room available to fit the IC where we talked about. Sure if you wanted to move the turbo and make it so one of the above components wouldn't work you could fit an IC but people have already paid and been using them so it is kind of a damned if you do damned if you don't.

There still might be an IC add on but to satisfy EVERYONE and their budget it just became overly complicated.
Lol. None of those things matter to me.

Ok so don’t judge because it’s just crap laying around to get where we needed to go but the intake routing is figured out AND it allows you to run the York OBA, dual batteries, stock or Landtank MAF, stock manifolds and stock air canister. And it’s damn near 100% bolt on. I have a could little brackets to make for the AC line but it’s good to go!

Couplers on Couplers on Couplers :) looking good Joey.

That was just to confirm the layout. The dual batteries and air compressor really hosed the way we thought the charge pipe would run. So Joey and his mystery man spent a bunch of time spinning the air box lid and playing with the best way to run the piping. The couplers are just an easy way to visualize placement.

The charge pipe and down pipe is super close to the firewall and near the relocated windshield reservoir (slee bracket) for those of us that run dual batts. Hard to see if it will interfere or not. Hope it doesn't otherwise I'll need to be hunting for a smaller wind shield tank.

One things for sure is I have a ton of dual batt isolator crap right next to the batt and factory intake box that I'm going to have to reroute unless I want melted wires and fire.

From what I could see of Slee's windshield washer relocation bracket in pictures and Slee's instructions, the only thing close to the reservoir would be the turbo inlet pipe from the air box, which would not be hot. But it also looks like there are several different bottles that people are using. I saw Corolla, and even 4Runner bottles used. So I suppose something like that might come down to your specific application.

I’ll need to verify when I get back home but I don’t think the Slee washer relocation kit will work. The bottle wants to be where the intake pipes also want to be. This doesn’t prevent using dual batteries but it doesn’t prevent that washer bottle location. The good news is there is an alternative JDM Corolla two piece washer bottle that sits inside the driver’s side fender. There are one or two threads on it and I have it installed myself. Frees up a lot of room.

So since I knew there IS a possible work around, and other positioning headaches, I chose to use that spot.

Dug up one of my old pics and it doesnt look like the charge pipe and angle of intake will work with factory 80 bottle using the slee bracket and dual batts. I also read the same thing about using a Corolla or Camry bottle. I'll figure it out and go to the yard and pull some diff bottles when the time comes.

Part # for that jdm bottle? If you know it fits for sure I'll go try and buy one.

Remind later this week but I might have some if the ancillary pieces to make that work.

I cant believe mud would seriously gripe about how their turbo kit will interfere with their slee washer bottle reservoir relocation kit

Good work Joey, now go home and try to get some sleep. Otherwise, heart attack #2 is not too far behind. :bang:
