Any thought on my previous question about compatibility with exhaust systems?
Cheers and thanks
Here you go Thomas, turbo placement fits with York OBA. Not something you can do with the TRD SC
And Towing should be fine. Gas mileage won't be great as you run rich under boost, but you just adjust your driving style.

so let me get this straight. (I havent read all 39pages).....you are doing some sort of sequential turbo setup here with your York OBA spooling up your turbo?? Very creative and straight up techno viking s***

Close, the York will still charge an air tank to 150psi, and then we will just dump that into the engine when we need like the “turbo” button on old arcade games. I mean who needs 5-7psi when you can have 150psi right? What could go wrong??![]()
im gonna drop the ‘sequential’ in favor of ‘Scottryana’s Twin-Screw-loose- Supacharger’.![]()
That’s how I got here. Now I’m convinced that the 1fz is badass. Way more potential than I envisioned in the beginning.I was planning on doing a 5.3 swap once the HG goes in my 80. Assuming the power is comparable and the turbo kit is available before I need to do the swap, you can count on me being a customer. Would much rather go this route than do another swap from scratch.
