So I have a JDM 95 Hilux LN107 double cab, super short bed. But started as a fire truck. So I have been looking for past year to import a bed from overseas. It naturally is a challenge but I have one lead. The one I've found overseas is complete but needs some body work. I have a shipping contact so its pricey but not exorbitant. Also not sure about customs for large car parts like this?
Another option is to take a local US version and bob the front end. I've seen many examples of people bobbing the tailgate side but none for the front end. The front wall of the bed would basically need to be taken back to the wheel arch. Just trying to get some advice on how feasible this would be.
