Hey guys - picked up a new to me LC100 about 2.5 weeks ago and have been binging on ih8mud for 2.5 weeks straight. Wanted to post a few pics of the build. I have a few more things planned.

2004 LC100 - got it with only 112,000 miles and a perfect carfax record. Socal for its entire life. No rust or anything. The previous owner had 5 vehicles and was very proactive about maintenance. Felt like a struck gold meeting him.

In the first two weeks here's what I've had done:

BASELINE:
• Air Filter
• EFI Service
• Front Brake Pads
• Front Wheel Bearings
• Cross Drilled Brake Rotors
• Rear Brakes
• Timing Belt
• Alternator Drive Belt
• Water Pump
• Thermostat
• All Tensioners Replaced - Roller, Tensioner, Idler
• Coolant
• Spark Plugs
• Serpentine Belt
• Power Steering Fluid
• Front Diff Fluid
• Transfer Case Fluid
• Gear Oil
• Reclamped Both Inner CVs
• New Battery
• Seat, Anchor Arm
• Swivel, Anchor Arm
• Spark Plugs

SUSPENSION:
• New UCA's
• 2.5" Kings Front & Rear
• Diff Drop
• Rear Coils
• Torsion Bars (Mounts & Bolts Replaced)

WHEELS & TIRES:
• Fifteen52 17" TurbomacHD - I love the offset of these, provides a nice stance without spacers.
• 285/70r17 Toyo MT'S
• Tires ended up being closer to 34.2's and required a good amount of trimming & pinch weld mods to fit.

EXTERIOR:
• Baja Roof Rack
• ARB Deluxe Front Bumper

OVER-THE-TOP:
• 50 Flow Master
• Opticoat Pro Paint Correction & Coating
• LED Exterior & Interior Lights
• WeatherTech Mats
• New Sound System
• Removed All Fake Wood from Interior - DESTROYED my fingers on this. You will simultaneously love and hate your interior if you do this.
• Replaced the rear LANDCRUISER emblem (The chrome was flaking off). Found a good method for removing the adhesive I'll post later.
• Added the rear mudflap delete kit last night. Will post pics later.

VERY-NEAR-FUTURE:
• All carpets/leather detailed.
• Dissent's new rear bumper with swing out
• White Knuckle Sliders (Ordered BF and am waiting for delivery). Had them customized without the bump out to match my 4runner.
• Maybe some armor underneath? I tend to destroy my vehicles. My 4runner is pretty beat up.
• Might do some undercoating.
• Repaint the flaking door trim pieces.
• Fix the broken third brake light
• Might try one of those updated touch screen head units. Nervous about messing with something that's not broken.
• Hidden Cobra CB
• Winch
• Onboard Air
• Might put some rotopax in the rear spare area

Ironically... This is my wife's car. How many of you guys convinced your wife to get a LC so you could have a second off-roading vehicle? :p

Whoa... you've been busy.

sweet build, hope to see you around town:steer:

No idea how you convinced her to drive that built up LC, not worried that guys must drool over it at gas stops/markets etc. and try and start conversations?... that thing is sick.

haha - yes. It's been a distracting couple of weeks.

Well she drinks her whiskey neat and likes to shoot guns. Didn't take much convincing at all.

But uh, usually it's a build thread, not a build post :)
And here I thought @atnolan94 worked quick...
thanks man

Very impressive that you've made this much progress in 2.5 weeks, nicely done!

Be sure your wife is on board with the swing out, I've heard some say they get a bit tedious during normal daily driving duties. My wife would not appreciate the extra effort to simply throw groceries in the back.

That's one of the main reasons we're going with the dissent bumper with just one swing out. It's taken some convincing, but she's cool with it now.

This looks great. Nice build!
Thanks!

Quick shot of the offset without spacers:

And a shot of the mudflap delete. A cheap mod, but one of my favorites.

This went from zero to hero realll quick

Subbed. I've had my black '05 for just about the same amount of time and all I've done is some baselining, heh. Like the look of the ARB! My daily is a gen 1 Tundra set up pretty well and abused regularly so the Hundy is also more for her. She would get along well with yours by the sound of things. Course, this is Wyoming. Consider everyone armed...and passing on the chaser.

Thanks man - I've definitely got the LC bug.

Morning guy -

Put about 150 miles on the truck since we got all of the suspension worked on. It looks like the front has lowered a solid 2.5” since install. Is that just a case of the shocks settling? Or is it a torsion bar thing?

The front is rubbing and bottoming out like a mofo. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance
