Still have one set available. Once this one is gone, I'll have to get several orders before doing another production run...

Any chance you can still get the W.S. for the "64 Bi-fold?

I came across this thread. SOR does not have it and says they have no aftermarket substitute.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

Sorry for the late response. Haven't been checked MUD for a while. Sent you a PM and gave you my personal email.....I do have at least one set available. If anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll see if I have another set left (can't remember if I sold the second to last one or not)....

Jason

I am needin' a set for my beeotch if you still have one!

I realized that I never posted pictures of the weatherstripping installed. It fits well. I dont know if he has any left but it fit the bill perfectly.

If ironpig is out i'll sell some extra i have .. just pm me.

hey guys,

I'm out of seals that I intended to sell off. I was keeping enough to do three doors for myself, but I don't really need three (heck, I'n not even close to installing the seals on my current project). I can part with one. Looks like Corrugated Toy was the first in line for the set...In addition to Wes, there may be some other members looking to sell their extra material....

I can look into getting another run made up if necessary....

Hello,
My first post here, I am looking for Bi-fold door seals for my '64 fj40 and found this forum. I would love to get a set If you get more, or if any one has some for sale let me know. ironpig, I am in for a set or two for sure if you have more made up. Also I need a few other parts for the Bi-folds, if anyone can point me in the right direction. The main parts I need are the top hinges that are inside the side tracks. Mine are broken...
Thanks,
Josh

Here is a picture of my '64 I am working on fixing up... I need to tracking down all the seals and weatherstripping for this vehicle. Every piece is old and rotten, or missing, but the body is good, now major rust or dents. Runs and drives well too.

Glad I found this forum!

Hi Josh, Welcome to mud. Now start your own thread, with lots of pictures of your '64...looks pretty clean so far

Josh, Great looking cruiser! Really sounds like we should do another run. I can check-in with the manufacturer and see what kind of quantities we need for an order....Please be patient, I'm getting back to mud occasionally, but I haven't had much time to devote to 'cruiser stuff lately....

Minimum production run is 500'. Not sure if we have enough of a demand to use all of that, but we could still possibly make a go of it. I'd like to keep the price the same as the first run but not lose money on the deal. That being said, I would need about 12 $75 orders (30' of seal extruded with original dies, shipped anywhere in the lower 48).

Also, there was some discussion earlier in the thread about the height of the seal. If we make an adjustment to increase the seal height, then the I'd need to sell all the seals (17 orders) at that $75 price to cover costs.

So, if there isn't enough interest to fill 12 orders (original design) or 17 orders (revised design), the price would need to go up to cover costs. Let me know what you guys think.
