Hey guys,

Sorry things are moving so slowly. Have lots of things on my plate these days. Fortunately, we are making some progress. Updated dimensions went in to the manufacturer today. Hope to have final approved shop drawings in the next couple of days. Since we have new dimensions, they will make new dies and send a sample for review before going to production.

Looks like prices will be at $60 per set (enough for ONE cruiser) plus shipping. For those that ordered before and only want one or two seals (3'-9" pieces) of the new design, the cost will be $15 each plus shipping. Costs were a little higher than last time, but I think it is still reasonable...

Also, Wes sent me a NOS vertical seal. The material is more or less a foam, so we may need to use another manufacturer (if we want the exact OEN material). However, I'm going to see if we can get them made in a soft EPDM by the same manufacturer of the horizontal seals in the hopes of getting better durability.

Hope to have fairly regular updates from here on out...

Sent the ok to produce a sample today. Sample should be out in about 2 weeks. I will double check against wes's measurements before approving the sample. Last time, the sample was almost 10' long. I can ship out a few samples if anyone is interested in looking at it first. Probably send 6" lengths maybe longer depending on sample size and interest. Let me know if you are interested via PM and get me your mailing address.

EPDM manufacturer can't do the vertical seals but recommended another company. I'll post up one I get some information from the other company (maybe start a newmthread?). Wes: Your NOS seal made it out and back unscathed!

Keeping tabs on the orders. Haven't heard back on the sample. Left a message with the supplier last week and they didn't get back to me. Nice people, but they don't really hurry.
