I know it's a futile endeavor for a trail rig, but Big Brown is a still a sharp truck an I'm going to touch up a few chips.

Any advice on where to go for the best results? Pen or bottle? Brand preference?

Thanks! Oregon.

X2 on the Toyota or Lexus dealership

I bought some about a month ago from the local Lexus dealership. The bottle has both a pen and a brush in it......pretty cool IMO. As to which one to use, I think it really depends on the specific spot that you are trying to touch up.

Sounds perfect. Didn't realize that the Yota paint had the pen tip as well as the brush. I'll get some with my next order from CruiserDan!

Do y'all get all fancy with clear over the touch up?

You will get better results with it lasting longer if you use clear, but for a trail rig that you will be continutally touching up, I wouldn't worry about it. My .02 of course.

That being said, me being the anal bastard that I am, I'd probably use clear despite the fact that its a trail rig. :p

Yeah, I recommend clear as well. when I got my paint from Touch Up Paint Online - Remove Car Scratches, the guys there emailed me and said I should get the clearcoat. I tried it and it looks glossier, plus they said it will help protect the paint instead of exposing it to the sun UV rays.
