This one I saw it on my Father in Law truck. Simple, a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe sliced long ways and used to hold a failing strut. He had this for about 8 years. FREE!!!!! The piece of wire in the picture is to hold the PVC pipe, also recycled from a piece of stripped wire:bounce:He has one on each strut.

I removed my stock roof rack, and painted my roof white. It is hands down my favorite and easiest thing I have done. It makes a huge difference on cab temps, on a sunny day you can not leave your hand on my green paint, but the white is still cool to the touch. I was not sure if I would like the white on green. I painted it myself after I removed the factory roof rails and sanded the rust that it was causing. I used spray paint and took my time taping the rest of the vehicle off. I am very pleased with how it turned out, I am sure if I had taken it to a shop for the prep & paint that it would look really good, AND be very functional.

I also glued the ever loving hell out of the sunroof, the support arm broke on one side shortly after I bought it, and I have tried to seal it shut several different times since then... I used an entire tube of caulk, (which I have done before but finally I built up enough of a base that it bonded to the glass, and the roof and actually filled in the gaps) NO MORE WET FLOORBOARDS! :bounce: .... I wasnt in time to save the head liner though :frown:

Pics... or it didn't happen :flipoff2:

I love the look of the white face gauges. It's like driving a new truck. $25, the remaining $75 will end up in the gas tank

Gotta see a night shot :)

Another best mod for under $100,

The $26 front cup holder

Only thing on mine that's cost less than $100 has been a tank of gas.

$40 Scion Radio

I got a Scion T-1809 out of a 2008 XB that works great from my local junk yard for $45. Little modification to the dash and viola!! Great addition to the truck...I now have CD (that works) as well as iPod and AM/FM controls and its ready for Sat radio if I decide to add it later.

Just a comment on the seat warmer mod. I just bought a Camry XLE and it has Seat Warmers. This is the first time I had them, but with the winter we just had here in the NE, Man let me tell you, there is no other way to get warm when you jump in a vehicle when it's in the teens. :)

Engine degrease and under-the-hood general facelift.
