My best mods for under 100.

-front bumper (free - time and consumables)
-sliders ($50 + consumables)
-rear tire carrier (free - time and consumables)
-rear bumperettes (")
-extra cup holders (free - time)
-stereo upgrade ($100)
-front skid (free - time and consumables)
-tank hood ornament (free - time and consumables)

When you build your own stuff and have a source for free steel most anything can be kept under a hundred bucks lol.

The way I look at it, for the price of just a rear bumper the average person could set themselves up with a welder and a plasma.

60/62 Series Hood Prop Rod - Less than $20!

My new favorite cheap mod...less than $20 from you local dealer.

After having my hood try it's best imitation of a Guillotine on a regular basis, I found the following info regarding the FJ60/62 hood prop, which fits our rigs exactly. Installs in 2 minutes without any tools, and works like a charm. No need to go to the local junk yard, as they are readily available and cheap from Mr. T. Certainly much cheaper and easier than fitting new OEM or aftermarket struts.

Here are the part numbers.

53451‑90A00 ROD, HOOD SUPPORT FJ62
90480‑15002 GROMMET (FOR HOOD SUPPORT ROD) FJ62
53452‑90351 HOLDER, HOOD STAY FJ62

Can't take all the credit here...MoGas posted the original parts numbers back in July, reviving a thread from 2005!...search was my friend, and glad to pass this one along.

I just done today a cargo net behind second seats row and I can say was 0 $. The cargo net, I bought for my pickup truck 3 years ago and something (was not over 50 $ at that time) and the brackets that I bolted one the place where the third seats was, I got from garbage 2 years ago when I worked in construction.
Another mood done to my cruiser is the bug screen for the slide windows. But, the this time I expended around to 60 $ for this project.
