My starter switch went bad, the prices I got quoted were not too good. Since the key turns all the way to the start and stays on, I had a start button installed. Some of the newer and expensive car are going this way, and int works fine. Spent $20.00 in wiring and button, and $45.00 labor.

Here you go! $6.00 button, $12.00 two rolls of 12Ga wire, plus tax. I did not like the way I wired it so I took it to the mechanic and he re- wired it in a better way.

P.S. Anyone care to make or have made a version of that replaces "rock" with MUD ... TRD MUD Warrior ... mmmm, sounds good to me.

Yes... I had starter issues.. Wiring issue that was solved by using the button. I used to jump the starter to the positive terminal of the battery.

Mine is on the left side of the steering wheel below the diff switch..

I'm using a Ford starter relay on mine, I wired mine to the 2 large posts, has to be careful, the truck will start in any gear! If someone knows which cables to connect under the dash, let me know please.

Pretty awesome. I yanked mine off a boneyard 60. The place didn't even charge me.

Already konked in the head once from this cold weather tailgate. If only they made a prop for that too.

X2, I got mine off a 60 for $1. The grommet and stow shoe were available at an auto body shop for $3. The thing already slammed on my fingers once, $4 for a little safety is worth every penny.
