I am considering getting a Sirius Radio Stratus 6 installed in my 2003 Land Cruiser.
I am trying to have the install be relatively seamless and functional at the same time.
Am considering removing the ashtray and having a mount installed in the roof of the ashtray cavity. < does that make sense?
It would basically cover the ashtray compartment.
The antennas would be mounted where the dashboard meets the windshield. The bubble looking antennas. They don't seem to disturb the stock "look" too bad.
What do yall think?
Also, I need to replace the front speakiers cause the driver speaker is blown. Thinking of going with some JL Audio TR650 CXI.
Having that done will run - $450 for the Sirius and the front speakers - and an ipod adapter.
Does that sound reasonable?
And while I'm at it, should I replace the rear speakers? They do work fine - for stock?
I'm not going for any blow your doors off system or anything....
I appreciate your feedback!
