Ok so when i went to Cullowhee last time and my wonderful wife bent the rear bumper on the driver side. i am now in the process of fixing up my FJ and am putting on a not-so-bent-up stock bumper, but the bottom of the bumper mount bracket is bent downward and away from the frame (i can take a pic if that description does not make sense)... My question is how can i get it bent back straight? Should I just scrap that one and get a new one or is there some trick or tool i can use to successfully get it straight enough to mount the bumper?

Unfortunately i do not have access to that stuff... i dont know of anybody close that has that..... i wish i was still near Clemson and not down here in North Augusta... here is the bent one

I second the BFH idea, just rack it a few times till its strait.

yeah so i am semi new and im kinda embarressed to admit this but i have no idea what a BFH is.

Brian you want to drive to Clemson you can borrow my BFH I dont have any need for it right now.

yeah itll look alot different when you see her next JP. richard i appreciate the offer... if i get the window motor working (currently it is out of the car) amd i still need it i might take you up on that offer.

Just let me know man, you want to ride up here one weekend I'll help your straighten it out wait til after June 1 and you can come to the lakehouse.

Swampy- If you need help getting a BFH, my parents live in N.A. and my dad works on my mom's Semi Truck... He has a BFH that will work. Let me know if you need his help. I'm sure he can help you fix it. If I remember correctly he has some torches as well...

Actually Hubby and I may be down there this weekend, for the Car show at Hooters in Augusta. My parents are members of that car club. Maybe we can all meet up.

Just an FYI, if you don't heat that thing to red hot your BFH will be adding some neat tingles to your arm when you hit it and it doesn't move.
