Hi Ben and greetings from Australia.

All the pics I have seen relate to what I call the 'small' roof console. I am wondering whether you guys in the US get the larger version of console as shown in my pics attached...? There seems to be a lots of wasted space that would suit lots of things like radio speakers, switch panels, USB ports etc...

Thanks

Mark

We never got the "long" overhead console because almost all NA spec 100 series came with a sunroof. I would have much rather gotten the long console, personally!

I like the long console. But we don’t have it in US.

I have a spare which I could send over, but I doubt the work required to utilise the various parts of this peice would be worth your time and effort, given you never got them over there. Bummer.....

Mark,

Mark,
Hey Mark
Ben printed me up a switch panel to fit in one of the sunglasses holders I have the same console as you. Who needs 3 sunglass holders anyway 😂

Yes. Plan is to make it look factory and use that place more effectively.

Replace this whole piece.

Hi Ben, have been following this thread for quite some time and am really amazed by your work!

Is this project still up and running?
I have quite a few things I would like to have custom made to fit here as my car has had owners before me with different ideas on how
to mount things.
As it is now I have a air pressure gauge for my airtank where the ashtray sits, and would like to add two toyota Switches to the blank space between
the two cigarette outlets. Moving them closer together if possible. Is this something you could sort?
I'll send you dimensions of the pressure gauge and so on if you would be up for it.

The space between two cigarette outlets are pretty small, right? Can you post a pic of the space you mentioned?

It's pretty much what you have in your picture, just that mine is mirrored so the ashtray is on the right side.
My idea was if you could make a whole new piece so that the two cigarette outlets are further left, did a quick photoshop
edit attached. (It looks terrible I know)
Otherwise I guess printing a new "cover" for the ashtray with the Gauge and one Toyota button hole would work as that's more or less what I have
done now, except it looks terrible.

When I'm done it will have one of the outlets as a dual voltmeter combined with a usb outlet for checking my starter and aux battery, and one cig outlet for peripherals.

I too think that would be a cool product, to replace that panel with a space for switches and maybe a few USB outlets. No need for a cigarette lighter in my opinion.

Make 19 V3: Fog Light Mount (Diode Dynamics SS3)

I've collaborated with Mike @98hundy on the development of a foglight mount for Diode Dynamics SS3. Today, he received the prototypes and I have some pictures to share.

Hey Ben.
Do you think there is room to do this model with a Baja Design S2 slot along side a Squadron? Looking to get the Squadrom as driving lamps and S2 as fog lamps.

Thank you.

(Land Cruiser, Not LX).
