Odin Auto Parts in Balcatta have a good selection of OEM and aftermarket Toyota gear. They also carry every nut/bolt /circlip/screw a landcruiser could ever need.I probably spend half my landcruiser money there.

Try Tojo4wd centre great to deal with might be a little slow to contact but only one guy works there but can get all genuine parts

I have picked up all the brake tubes and fuel lines I ordered them from stainless steel.. really nice work from ENZED in Osborne Park. I just gave them the old ones and they copied them in ss.

Cheers - I will check out.
Another nightmare with 4x4world.com.au they sent me a hilux hub listed as landcruiser. This is one of the worst people I ever dealt.

Thanks I know Peter I bought a few things and no complaint he was ok but this time I thought I look for new suppliers. The best so far CityRacer and FJparts. I like to purchase online and dont have much time to go to shops. These two vendors are accurate, they are not pushy, they look after the customer and have very reasonable prices.
I can judge a seller by its parcel packed and wrapped. These people are logistical genius they don't waste space and they respect the goods they sell. Some are sending stuff as if it was potatoes..

G'dammit!! Year end fast approaching and everything seems to be against my resto..
If you are a newby like myself you have to think about timing your resto against the peak seasons for major trades you might need their services.
ARB has delayed my leaf springs due to "extreme delay in manufacturing" to- sit down otherwise you'll fall- till Mid-February 17!!!
I have placed my OME suspension more than 6wks ago. That makes this 6months wait for ARB OME. Shame!
The other is my powdercoater.. ok he is busy with big orders, but never mind I just hope my frame and parts will come back before Crissy.
So thats where we at. Again if you are a one-time restorer like myself and if you cant do all yourself then the best is if you plan and book some things wel well in advance.

Looks good just sitting on the floor

Did the suspension come early?

Suspension arrived except the rear leaf springs. Those are due Mid February (!).
Anyway, hope to receive the powdercoatings before Xmas so I will begin broadcasting the build..

Oh s***

Do

dont you worry.. i squeezed another coin out of the almighty arb that error provided
You know what? - I thought like this: if I get my frame back before Crissy I will only have a few weeks to work on the troopy, that includes assembling both axle house and throw in the front with rods and etc. I'' not sure if I can do all that till mid Feb when the rear springs arrive. So actually its not that bad news, given the fact that I got the entire set with three fold discount. First what they offered, than my counter offer, then the penalty for the delay..

Where do ARB get their suspension made these days? They were using Beltons before.

He who yields first, receives his order last.
