Fj45 troopy valve cover gasket

Hey yall, I have a 1982 fj45 troopy imported from Australia and the valve cover gasket is leaking, I’m gonna dive into it but wanna see if there’s any recommendations or tips before it do it!

Less than 1 job. Buy OEM gasket

Make sure the cover is flat on the bottom and the nuts surface isn't crushed. Don't overtighten it down

also get the 4 gaskets/grommets for the nuts
might as well check/adjust valves while there

Do a kit, you'll want to replace the grommets while you're in there imo
