Eric Wooster. Did u ever find someone to help with importing the Bandierante from Brazil. I left 1Tontoy a reply but have not heard back yet. Let me know if u need another person to buy. I can't figure out how to PM.

Hello Beeb, did anybody here find out how much would it be to import a Toyota jeep to the US and what would be the requirements to register it here? I have contacts in Brazil that could find me one, I was from the Jeep Club of Rio and I know mechanics there that sell some. I had two jeeps from 1989 thru 2015. I would love to have one again.

I am new here, but may be able to help you out. We usually import from Japan, but have recently worked out a partnership with some acquaintances in Brazil who have a resto shop. I am currently sourcing a Bandeirante extended cab, native bed for another client. What I have so far for costs (shipping only) is about $2600 for a 20' container to Port Everglades. This doesn't include all of the fees for sourcing, inspection, any restoration or body work that may need done, etc...if you want more information, I can certainly get it for you.
