Doesn't look right on the 80.

Not sure if you are involved with the development but if so, I can see it kind of fits in with the rest of your designs. Get some LED's in it, get it on a USDM truck and lets see the finished product. There are a lot of times people can't see it until it is done. Not to mention the price seems pretty cheap.

Well that flopped. Thanks for all the constructive criticism mud.

Just a few thoughts...
I would post it up on Ebay. I'm sure there are some Bro Cruisers that would buy on that price point. As far as this forum, IMHO it needs to be redesigned to build on the original Toyota design (horizontal bar with Large "Toyota" in the middle). The "transformer" look doesn't work for me as well. The chrome headlight trim surrounds also need to be painted black to flow into the grill.

Venezuela? Is there any business still operating down there?

The concept is cool. I was just working on relocating my trans cooler this weekend and was contemplating some sort of plate grill. May have more supporters here if they cut outs below the pod mounts were more traditional horizontal bars.

How does it mount? The bolts appear to be for looks. I see the top tabs for the factory locations but the bottom appears to be something different.

Agreed. Looks like one of those vinyl strap woven out-door chairs.
I am really good at blowing those out. If there is a lawn chair heaven, I have sent my fair share there.

As for the grill, I like the utility for the lights and it seems well made, but I don't care for the look. I prefer the T O Y O T A type grills and the aftermarket ones that share that. Cool to see another option out there for an old truck though!

I want to like it because I like the concept, but I just like the lines of the original grill with that 90's style. I like my 94 grill better than my 97 grill.

Received mine today. Looks better on our US spec 80s for sure. I’ll receive six led pods on Monday and put those in and see how it looks. He fixed the cutouts, so now they are all symmetrical. Think I’m also going to add some silver or black mesh to the backside....then I’ll see if it deserves to stay on the truck! OEM look is hard to get over.

Haha, your truck already looked like half the front had fallen off, now it looks like you've lost another chunk with the original grill gone
