Very nice. Is it a Long Ranger tank? Does the system transfer fuel from the aux tank to the the main, or does it just route where the fuel is drawn?

Dave

well its depend... my LC have a carb.. so I used a gas selenoid to select wich tank to used... but one friend have a EFI engine on his 70 and put a electric pump and used the same selenoid and its work perfect.....

this is the fuel valve I used.... I buy it in

I was looking at your axle picture:

and saw that your rear axle is not a typical Toyota axle! I realize your FZJ70 is a Venezuelan market vehicle. Is that a locally sourced axle? Do you have more pics of the rear axle? Thanks,

Dave

thats right in Venezuela all the FJ7X come with DANA 60 rear axle, its stronger than the toyota.... but every one down here love to have one toyota, what a irony... here in a yunk yard can find a dana one for about 600 US$ with 15000 km

I will take some pics... and post it tomorrow..... are you looking for something in special.........

Woooo, 40/70 width Dana 60 rear axles with cruiser offset! Is it a full floater?

If it wasn't for the tyranny of distance, people here would trade yours with their Toyota axles in a blink of the eye.

Looking for the 6 lug hub picture, pics of the brakes, pics of the brake cable, etc.... Thanks, Luis.

not all of us would...

How about the tank? The Longranger is expensive for a MWB SWB in Oz ,so I cringe at the cost overseas.

Semi-floater, my FJ62 came with the same axle, but I replaced it a long time ago with a US-spec FJ60 axle. My decision was based on the fact that I was wheeling the truck pretty hard back then and I didn't want to get stranded with a broken axle and having to get a Danaven part back to the US (because of the offset, you can't get those axle shafts here). I also hated that you would clear a rock with the front axle, then drag the rear one (less clearance). The cover also goes all the way down to the bottom of the axle, so as it scrapes on rocks the lip peels and the 90 wt leaks....gag!

I don't thought ( strongly ) that Dana axle/houseng with the same specs ( 1.31" diam and 30 splines ) are better than Toyota Land Cruiser factory axles .. I love my Toyota stuff .. and for sure keep it for ever.
