I had my automatic transmission rebuilt in my 91 Toyota Land Cruiser. What makes this madness is that the last part they needed to finish it, was a stupid plastic spacer. They said it would be in in two weeks from China. Are there any alternatives? Does anyone have one laying around? Any help would be appreciated. Also any thoughts on a manual swap?

Are you referring to the transmission mount that goes between the cross member and the trans?

No, it's the rear "planter(?)" washer that goes between two metal washers on the back of the transmission when it's apart. This is the info I got from the shop rebuilding it so that's all I know about it.

This thing is a best I love it

Did you actually contact @beno to find this part or put your rebuilder in contact with him.

If it's hard to find, he will know the status or an alternative.

No I haven't actually but I'll do that right now. See? This is why I ask you guys :grinpimp:

Is it a piece that looks like it can't just be machined on a mill?
It's a special material that won't melt in hot trans fluid. I asked if I could get it 3D printed since I thought it was just "plasticy-plastic" but it's aperantly super material. Other wise I would love to get it milled somewhere lol

Forget about 3D stuff. Can it's physical shape be milled? Is it round? Square? Layered? Any material is available but without at least a pic of it I can't even recommend anything.

A delrin or Nylon, would be fine, and not a milled part if it's a cylinder, must be turned, give me an idea on which part it is and I could have my teenager make one

Oh it's round, well I'm sure it was at some point. I'm pretty sure I bought it without thinking how effed the tranny could be

Brother that would be bitchin but I have no idea what it looks like, dimensions anything, only know it's in shreds now
Very appreciative tho

Part number 35738.
Rear planetary washer. This is what I've been trying to describe to you guys. Anyone have a tranny torn apart and this thing laying around? I found a tranny in Dallas for $300. So basically I would be buying a $300 washer. Anyone have a better idea?
