Sorry I didn't finish White Lighting no 129 is for sale in Toowoomba its missing a few items such as White bull bar, Driving lights, Momo Steering Wheel, Momo gear nob and white wheels , Its a petrol and is for sale for $3400 may be alright if you wish to build one up or finish one off, Front interior looks ok outside not bad some spots of rust in the usual. I don't own it but tis just up the road from where i live

I've only just noticed for the first time that both 60s pictured here have wing windows on the front doors, never seen that before.

Toyota decided we would like the full size better, I don't think I agree with them.

That 'White Lightning' is like a taste of things to come in the 4WD scene at that time. Moving towards more bling, less utility. Still basic compared to what followed. Never seen one of those - looks smart.
Suppose I should contribute to the Aussie registry? Here we are ten years or so ago on Ben Lomond Tas when the brown was paint and not rust and before we had kids. Didn't take hours to get out the door and go bush! Esky full o'Pale and a box of matches. Missus and I would sleep on a mattress thrown in the back.
Overseas Sept 2014, in the south German forests, almost back 'home' after a five day run down from Hamburg where he had languished in a warehouse after cruise from Melbourne. Three kids in the back hence the improved camping setup.
It was funny to be let loose on the German roads amongst all the shiny stuff with a rig that had never had a roadworthy. At that time you could still buy 5 day number plates to move any wreck around Germany rego or not - mad. No longer possible since last April. I'd like to think that the trail of rust and fluids that Mr.Brown laid across Germany contributed to that law being changed!
I'll post the journey back home to Tas pics in about ten years.
